Park Maintenance Worker Jobs Vermillion Bay Details:

This job requires commitment from your end and you need to perform several duties like:

1. You will be providing leadership to maintenance staff
2. You will be performing minor repairs of  buildings.
3. You will be providing garbage collection as well as  general maintenance work.
4. You will be operating various heavy and light powered equipment such as tractors, riding lawn mowers, hand tools,etc.
5. You will be carrying out inspection related work for security.
6. You will be promoting park rules and regulations and their strict compliance.
7. You will be advising, reporting and recording violations.
8. You will be dealing with various complaints related to violation of rules.

Mandatory qualification:

1. You must have a valid class “G” driver’s license  recognized by the Ontario province.
2. You must have a valid emergency first aid certificate.
3. You have the ability to work in multiple shifts and during odd working hours.

Knowledge:

1. You have knowledge of various operating standards required for the maintenance and sanitation of general building facilities.
2. You have knowledge of the operation and maintenance equipment like lawnmowers, chainsaws,etc.
3. You have knowledge to interpret regulations, acts and various procedures related to Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Skills required:

1. Decent communication skills
2. Interpersonnel as well as team leadership skills.
3. Organizational skills
4. Ability to work in a team with minimum supervision.
